55 Alternative Movie Posters: Ambrosia for the eyes

Hello everyone, I hope you are well.

It has been quite some time since I have written something on this blog and it’s purely down to the fact that I have been incredibly busy working on a few European projects, which had me away from home for a few months, but now I am back and am delighted to be writing and contributing to this blog again. This one will be short and sweet

While flicking between literature and scanning the internet for new inspiration, I came across a few alternative movie posters which I thought were just stunning (so much so I’ve ordered a few prints) and decided to cover the topic in this article. In the gallery below you will see some really beautiful and clever posters for some of the most iconic and cult movies over the last few decades. A lot of them employ quite a minimalist theme which would require an in depth knowledge of the movie to recognize the subtlety of them and so perhaps if they were released instead of the originals, it may not have served it’s purpose, who knows?

I would  love to hear your feedback and thoughts on the gallery, my favourites are the Indiana Jones, Drive, Sucker Punch, Phantom of the Opera and Robocop Posters
